These hinges are designed for easy lift off removal of doors or hatches when greater access is needed. I have 2 of these hinges (4 pieces total), all for $100 firm. I bought these for a boat shower door project that ended up getting redesigned, so these have never been used or mounted. I stuck one piece to a wall temporarily with a little butyl for reference, which is the harmless residue you see on the back of one of them.
